Cabbage and Cheese Rolls

Ingredients


Cabbage (cut finely)
1
Cottage cheese (cut finely)
400 grams
Bread
8 slices
Black pepper (crushed)
1 tsp
Fresh coriander (chopped)
1 bunch
Green chillies (chopped)
2
Refined flour (dissolved in water)
1 tbsp
Egg whites (beaten)

Salt
To taste
Oil
For frying
Tomato ketchup
For serving

Method

  1. Remove crusts from bread slices; gently flatten slices with rolling pin.
  2. Mix cabbage, cheese, green chillies, coriander, black pepper and salt in a bowl.
  3. Place little mixture on one end of bread slice; brush flour paste and eggs on all four edges; roll bread while pressing ends closed. Repeat process to make more rolls.
  4. Heat oil in a wok; fry rolls golden and remove on absorbent paper.
  5. Serve with tomato ketchup.
