Gram flour roti


Ingredients

Whole-wheat flour (sieved)
125 grams
Gram flour (sieved)
75 grams
Onion (chopped)
1
Fresh coriander (chopped)
1 bunch
Mint leaves (chopped)
2 tbsp
Water
1 cup
Red chillies (crushed)
1 tsp
Salt
To taste
Clarified butter
½ cup

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients except clarified butter in to whole wheat flour; knead into dough.
  2. Cover with wet muslin and set aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Make 8 balls from dough; roll into discs.
  4. Put little clarified butter on an iron griddle and cook rotis from both sides.
  5. Serve with saag, yogurt or chutney.
