Caramel Halwa

Ingredients


Semolina
¾ cups
Fresh milk
3 cups
Sugar
1 ¼ cups
Eggs
2
Green cardamoms
5
Almonds
10
Clarified butter
1 cup
Almonds (peeled)
For garnishing
Sterling silver leaf
For garnishing

Method

  1. Mix semolina, milk and eggs in a bowl.
  2. Heat oil in a pot; fry cardamoms until they pop.
  3. Add sugar; cook over medium flame while stirring continuously until halwa separates from pot.
  4. Remove halwa in a dish; garnish with almonds and silver leaf; serve.
